Understand Your Sleep Apnea Snoring

When the air passages in the nose and throat are constricted or start to collapse a person will start to develop sleep apnea snoring. The condition will start as a snore and end with a loud snort which will cause the body to startle and respond.

One of the body’s early warning signs that there is a problem is snoring. When one is sleeping, snoring startles the body into action even when a person does not fully wake up. An obstruction in the nasal passage can impede proper air flow. If there is an obstruction in the esophagus or trachea a restriction of air may also occur. Do you lie awake at night tossing and turning? Do you count sheep until you’re so tired of seeing sheep you wish you never saw another sheep?

Maybe you have insomnia.

Perhaps you’re always tired. Always feel like you need a good few hours sleep, but can’t get it.

And it’s possible that your relationship is suffering as well because not only do you not sleep well but all that tossing and turning disturbs your partner too. And he or she has had enough of your grumpy moods.

Insomnia can be a huge problem. And if you have it it’s probably a huge problem for you right now. Maybe it’s causing you some physical or mental health problems for example.

It’s not unusual to have a few nights when you don’t sleep perfectly. Maybe you’re worried about something. Everyone has those.

But if you have night after night of interrupted sleep then it isn’t just the odd time, it seems more permanent than that.

And there’s different types of insomnia. Perhaps you can’t get to sleep from the moment you get to bed. Or you can get to sleep then but wake at 3 am and can’t get back to sleep. Or you sleep fine till 5 and that’s it.
